What can DesignMil do for you?

DesignMil offers a unique creative experience different than the day-to-day work life. As a creative, you get to spend an entire day designing, developing or strategizing with a local nonprofit, work on a team with other local professionals and/or students, and network with some cool people. You’ll have the opportunity to create some great work that can be added to your portfolio. In addition, we’ll feed you all day and give you some swag.

What is a nonprofit?

A nonprofit is a tax-exempt organization that serves the public interest. Did you know there are 26 different types of nonprofits recognized by the IRS? Nonprofits aim to serve their communities through charitable, educational, scientific, religious or literary work.

What is DesignMil?

DesignMil is a design collaboration that connects nonprofits with designers in Milwaukee to add value and visibility to their cause. On November 4th 2017, we’re hosting a 12-hour design event pairing creative professionals with nonprofits in the Milwaukee area to identify and create design solutions.
